Interactive Maps and Analytic Tools

The Products tab lists interactive tools developed by WRI researchers for evaluating a range of wildfire risk and vulnerability factors, including:

  • vegetation stress (live fuel moisture)
  • social vulnerability
  • strategic pre-positioning / up staffing of response crews
  • hydrant spacing evaluation associated with CA Fire Code Section C103 / Santa Barbara County Fire Development Standard #2
  • structure to hydrant access stipulated in CA Fire Code Section 503.1.1 / City of Santa Barbara Municipal Code 507.5.1.1
  • neighborhood evacuation potential (CA Government Code 65302 / 65040.25)
